MIDDLE SCHOOLS: Norwayne wins WCMSAC D-I title

Clay Matthews tossed a pair of touchdown passes, and Norwayne claimed the Wayne County Middle Schools Athletic Conference Division I championship Thursday afternoon. Matthews completed scoring strikes to Ashton Perozini and Hunter Theriac. Omar Tucker rushed for three TDs. Elisha Davis and Tylil Faison provided one TD apiece. Defensive leaders -- Chris Ellis, Christian Moore, Harrison Hansen and Tory DeLeon. Norwayne ended the year 7-1 overall.
