GIRLS' BASKETBALL: Faith Christian goes 2-1 in Southeastern Invitational

RALEIGH -- Emma Meador pumped in 11 points as Faith Christian claimed third place in the Southeastern Invitational with a 34-28 victory over Great Bridge Christian on Saturday morning.
All-tournament pick Jordan Lawhon led the Conquerors with 11 points in an opening-round 34-9 conquest of New Bern Christian. Lawhon tallied 10 points in a 34-30 loss to Gateway (Va.) Christian.
Faith Christian (2-1 overall) entertains N.C. Christian Schools Association 2-A region rival Bethel Christian on Monday.
