Middle schools
* Volleyball: Spring Creek d. Dillard 25-11, 25-9 and 25-5, 25-20 -- Alissa Price served five aces and Virginia Edmondson contributed four aces during the Gators' doubleheader sweep of Dillard on Thursday afternoon. Anna West had two aces. Sierra Herring posted one ace. Price logged a solo block in the second match. Spring Creek (8-3 overall, 5-1 WCMSAC Division I) faces Brogden next Wednesday.
* Volleyball: Grantham d. Greenwood 25-14, 25-13 and 25-7, 25-15 -- Morgan Kennedy registered a total of seven kills during the Bulldogs' doubleheader sweep of the T-Birds. Abby Parker collected five kills. Alissa Meadows and Alyssa James supplied four kills and three kills, respectively. Sarah Game, Ashley Holloman and Kaylee Brock delivered one kill apiece. Grantham (9-2 overall, 5-1 WCMSAC Division II) travels to Mount Olive next Tuesday.
* Volleyball: Rosewood d. Mount Olive 25-10, 25-23 and 25-14, 22-25, 15-7 -- Katie Smith notched eight aces and three kills during the Eagles' doubleheader sweep of the Chargers. Jaylee Amy served four aces. Rosewood (8-1 overall) returns home Monday for a doubleheader against Greenwood.
* Volleyball: Eastern Wayne d. Brogden 2-1 -- The Warriors (4-6 overall) picked up their third straight win after sweeping a doubleheader from Dillard on Wednesday.
