Darius Rodgers' 41-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter helped the Cougars claim an Eastern Carolina 2-A Conference win in come-from-behind fashion Thursday evening. Rodgers ended the night with 133 yards rushing and two TDs, including a 71-yard gallop in the opening quarter. Naz Wooten hauled in a 23-yard scoring strike from Brody Morton (5 of 8, 103 yards) in the third quarter. Wooten caught two passes and Reed Barnett reeled in one reception. Defensive leaders were Rodgers (six tackles, one assist), Ty Barnes (five stops), Jackari Wilson (four tackles, one assist), Jordan Scott (four tackles), Tyrese Christian (four tackles), Micah Mooring (three tackles for loss), Dorian Rodgers (fumble recovery) and Jabari Wilson (fumble recovery).
