VOLLEYBALL: Princeton sweeps Neuse Charter

SMITHFIELD -- Daisey Eklund notched 12 kills as defending Carolina 1-A Conference champion Princeton cruised past Neuse Charter 25-10, 25-17, 25-12 on Thursday evening.
Eklund added two blocks and four aces.
Emily Ricks, Kortney Edwards, Leah Narron and Erika Hines combined for 16 kills. Lily Eklund provided one kill and five aces.
Beth Braswell passed out 14 assists.
The Bulldogs entertain Lakewood on Tuesday.
