GIRLS' TENNIS: Aycock falls to No. 5-ranked Fike

PIKEVILLE -- No. 5-ranked Wilson Fike remained unbeaten with a 9-0, non-conference triumph over Charles B. Aycock on the Luke Vail Tennis Courts on Wednesday afternoon.
The Golden Demons (12-0 overall) swept the two-match, regular-season series from the Golden Falcons. Aycock's Lexi Reeves took the opening set at the No. 3 singles flight before Fike's Logan Adkins completed a 3-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-4) comeback.
C.B. Aycock (5-6) returns to action next Tuesday at county and Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference rival Southern Wayne.
