SOCCER: Casteneda's hat trick powers Rebels on the road

SALEMBURG -- Dario Casteneda notched a hat trick (three goals) during North Duplin's 7-4 conquest of Lakewood on the Carolina 1-A Conference scene Wednesday evening.
Casteneda has scored a total of 11 goals in his last two outings.
Henry Silva contributed two goals, including a first-half penalty kick. Juan Garcia and Rolando Arellano each supplied one goaƻl. Garcia and Wilber Velasquez dished out one assist apiece.
Rebel goalies Felipe Prudencio and Raul Romero combined for 12 saves.
Lakewood played a man down the final 55 minutes of the game.
North Duplin (3-2-1 overall, 2-0-0 CC) entertains Spring Creek next Monday.
