VOLLEYBALL: Friendship Christian topples Faith Christian

RALEIGH -- Savannah Potts recorded six kills and Chloe Mills posted six blocks as Faith Christian dropped a 17-25, 29-27, 17-25, 11-25 battle against N.C. Christian Schools 2-A foe Friendship Christian on Tuesday evening.
"The girls played very hard and put up a good match, especially coming back from a large deficit in the second set," FCA head coach Jamie Conlon said. "We continue to play stronger and get more unified as a team."
Potts also had six digs defensively and served two aces. Mills and Jordan Lawhon combined for nine digs. Reagan Baumgartner contributed four blocks and six digs.
Emma Meador logged three aces.
Faith Christian (2-4 overall) travels to Greenville Christian on Thursday.
