County rivals Charles B. Aycock and Rosewood are slated to complete games today suspended from heavy rain and lightning last Thursday evening.
Aycock trailed North Lenoir 36-27 when play was halted during the second half. The Golden Falcons (1-1 overall) have won 10 straight against the Hawks and are seeking their second road victory of the season.
Play resumes at 6 p.m.
Rosewood (0-2) surrendered 18 points in the first 6-plus minutes of the game against perennial power Midway. When play resumes, the Eagles face a fourth-and-inches at the Midway 44-yard line.
Game time is 7 p.m. at Branch Pope Field. Midway leads the all-time series 26-11.
Fans who attended either game are reminded they receive free admission as long as they retained their ticket stub from Thursday's game.
Goldsboro (0-2) and Southern Wayne (0-1) meet Tuesday evening in Dudley. Kickoff is 7 p.m.
