JACKSONVILLE -- Dario Castenada collected a hat trick (three goals) and added an assist during North Duplin's 11-2, non-conference mercy-rule win over Lejeune on Tuesday afternoon.
The game ended in the 89th minute.
Wilber Velasquez tallied two goals. Juan Garcia, Cesar Santos (one assist), Gustavo Velasquez, Mark Zambrano and Eliel Aguirre knocked in one goal apiece.
Luis Velasquez assisted on two goals. Edgar Holguin and Ovidio Rojas each had one assist.
"It was a good game, everyone was involved (with) lots of different goal scorers and assists," third-year ND head coach James Foster said. "(The) communication was better and our midfield worked together better. Our younger players got a lot of time and opportunities to score as well."
The Rebels (1-1-1 overall) travel to Midway today.
