VOLLEYBALL: Wayne Christian sweeps Greenfield in CPIC play

Hope Shook and Ashlee Harrelson combined for 13 kills in Wayne Christian's 25-12, 25-8, 25-17 conquest of Greenfield on the Coastal Plains Independent 1-A Conference scene Tuesday afternoon.
Hannah Sladick contributed four kills and five service aces. Mercy Wright had three aces and three kills. Holly Gurley (five digs), Sarah Sawyer (three aces) and Amanda Morrell (two kills) also played well.
Kasey Norris handed out 16 assists.
The Eagles (11-1 overall, 3-0 CPIC) entertain Parrott Academy on Friday.
