Vick, Morton combine for 4 hits in Cougars' loss

Tommy Vick and Brody Morton cranked out two hits apiece in Goldsboro's 8-3 loss to Eastern Carolina 2-A Conference foe Greene Central on Tuesday afternoon.
"We played our most-complete and solid game of the season since Fayetteville Westover," GHS head coach Danny Merritt said. "We played error-free until we had two errors in the sixth inning."
Jon Stevens and Elijah Artis each had one hit.
