Wise leads Wayne Christian in CCC 1A golf meet

Drake Wise carded a nine-hole round of 48 as he and his Wayne Christian teammates played host to a Carolina Christian 1-A Conference match at Lane Tree Golf Club on Tuesday afternoon.
Miciaiah Singletary posted a 52. Logan Jackson and Braxton Flores rounded out Wayne Christian's four-player total of 216. Adam Grady shot a 63.
Cape Fear Christian Academy edged Neuse Christian 184-185 in team competition. Cape Fear's Daniel Devane shot a 36.
Wayne Christian returns to action today in the annual Cookout Classic (Wayne County Championships) at Goldsboro Municipal Golf Course.
