GREENVILLE -- Jacob Magera recorded Wayne Country Day's lone hit in a 10-0, six-inning loss to The Oakwood School on Tuesday afternoon.
The Chargers stranded seven runners on base.
Amane Godo started on the mound and yielded eight runs (seven earned) on four hits, one walk and four hit batsmen. Patrick Hall threw 3 1/3 innings and gave up two runs on eight hits, one walk and two hit batsmen.
"We have to get back to work and do the little things right," WCDS head coach Michael Taylor said. "We have to come up with the base hit with runners in scoring position. We just have not done that over the past two games.
"We will get back at it today ... grind it out."
The Chargers (8-6-1 overall) are the guests of Freedom Christian on Thursday.
