Rosewood wins Carolina 1A meet at Duplin CC

KENANSVILLE -- Dylan Champion posted a team-low 82 and just missed sharing medalist honors by one stroke during a six-team Carolina 1-A Conference meet contested at Duplin Country Club on Monday afternoon.
Champion's 81 helped Rosewood log a match-low four-player total of 351 -- 18 strokes better than second-place finisher Princeton. Andrew Ingram and Cameron Klages completed the Eagles' team score with rounds of 88 and 89, respectively.
Dylan Greene also participated.
Codi Bryant led Princeton's charge with an 89. Teammates Chris Sauls (92), Nick Dorman (94) and Spencer Woodard (94) rounded out the Bulldogs' score. Kelvin Woodard also played.
Jarret Raiford and Damon Barwick emerged the low scorers for Spring Creek, which carded a team score of 412.
James Kenan's Cole Pridgen earned medalist honors with an 81.
