Rain postpones area games

Athletics directors from Charles B. Aycock, Spring Creek, Wayne Country Day and Princeton have either postponed or canceled games due to inclement weather scheduled for today.
The C.B. Aycock-Eastern Wayne baseball, softball and girls' soccer games -- all scheduled to be played in Pikeville -- have been rescheduled for Wednesday. Each event begins at 6 p.m.
Spring Creek's trio of home games -- baseball, softball and girls' soccer -- have also been moved to Wednesday. Game time is 5:30 p.m.
Wayne Country Day has canceled non-conference baseball and girls' soccer affairs against Halifax Academy. Chargers AD Michael Taylor said the games will not be rescheduled.
Rosewood athletics director Robert Britt said today's baseball and softball games have been moved to Friday. However, the soccer game cannot be played will be rescheduled at a later date.
