* Baseball: C.B. Aycock 7, J.H. Rose 3 -- Charles B. Aycock exploded for seven run in the fourth inning in its come-from-behind win over J.H. Rose at Charles Davis Field. The Rampants led 3-0 after 4 1/2 innings of play. Luke Frederick (RBI) and Nick Aycock (RBI) paced CBA's offense with two hits apiece. Caleb Matthews (RBI), Carson Smitherman, Cody Whaley and Blake Gipson each had one hit. Frederick started on the bump and yielded three runs (one earned) on six hits. He retired six Rose batters on strikeouts. Jordan Gay threw three innings of four-strikeout scoreless relief to earn the save.
