Princeton baseball shuts out North Duplin

PRINCETON -- Nick Phillips delivered a four-hit outing as Princeton claimed a mercy-rule, 11-0 triumph over Carolina 1-A Conference foe North Duplin on Tuesday evening.
Tyler Ricks connected on a two-RBI single in the first inning. Tanner Flowers had an RBI double in the second inning.
The Bulldogs limited the Rebels to two hits.
Princeton (10-3 overall) travels to Lakewood on Thursday.
