Lane's goal lifts SC past Neuse Charter

SMITHFIELD -- Jordan Lane provided an unassisted goal early in the opening half and Spring Creek slipped past Neuse Charter, 1-0, in Carolina 1-A Conference action.
"The rest of the game was more physical," second-year SC head coach Carlos Borda said. "Both teams tried to score with no success."
The Gators (6-1-0 overall, 3-0-0 CC) travels to Princeton on Monday.
