Bartlett claims medalist honors at Cardinal CC

KENLY -- Blake Bartlett earned medalist honors and Charles B. Aycock emerged as the low-scoring team during a non-conference meet contested on the Cardinal Country Club links.
Bartlett carded a 6-over 78 for the Golden Falcons. Teammates Bryce Jones (81) and Nick Wise (83) placed second and third, respectively. Ty Daniels' round of 87 completed Aycock's four-player total of 329 -- 26 strokes lower than runner-up Eastern Wayne.
The Warriors' individual scores were not submitted to the News-Argus.
Led by Spencer Woodard's 87, Princeton finished third with a 377. East Wake Academy fired a 406. Southern Wayne did not field enough players to record a team score.
