* Girls' soccer: Eastern Wayne 2, North Lenoir 0 -- Sophomore Megan Bartz and freshman Jamia Waters each punched in a goal during the Warriors' win. Sophomores Sam Antoine and Bella Bowen provided one assist apiece. EW is the guest of Triton on Wednesday.
* Girls' soccer: Wayne Country Day 7, Faith Christian-Rocky Mount 0 -- Wayne Country Day's Langley Barnes registered a hat trick (three goals) and the Chargers logged five assists as a team during their non-conference romp over the Patriots on Monday afternoon. Kathryn Hamilton supplied one goal and a team-leading three assists. Hayden Neilsen and Jennifer Potts each contributed one goal and one assist. Kiara Drew added a goal. Wayne Country Day (3-0-1 overall) travel to Community Christian on Thursday.
