Harris, Eagles shut down Lakewood

SALEMBURG -- Kolby Harris tossed a three-inning shutout as Rosewood pounded out an 11-0, mercy-rule win over Lakewood in Carolina 1-A Conference action Thursday afternoon.
Harris retired nine Leopard hitters on strikeouts and walked two in the five-inning affair. It was his second mound win of the season.
Ethan Chapin (RBI) tripled and scored twice. Derek Neal supplied an RBI double. Harris doubled and tallied two runs. Tanner Bradley contributed an RBI single and Hayden Amodeo cranked out an RBI triple.
