CALYPSO -- North Duplin scratched out two hits during its 6-0, non-conference loss to South Lenoir on Tuesday afternoon.
Copeland Brickhouse and Caleb Cashwell had one hit apiece for the Rebels.
Ricky Cameron endured the mound loss. He retired four SL batters on strikeouts and permitted six hits. The Blue Devils broke the game open with a five-run, sixth-inning outburst.
"(A) tough loss on the mound for Ricky Cameron tonight," ND head coach Chuck Crumpler said. 'He pitched well. (I was) happy with our performance."
