* Girls' basketball: Wayne Country Day 37, Trinity Christian 26 -- Lexi Jeffreys led the Chargers' offense with 16 points. Janae Jones knocked down nine points. WCDS remained unbeaten in 11 outings this season.
* Boys' basketball: Trinity Christian 76, Wayne Country Day 57 -- Cooper Edmondson paced the Chargers with 17 points. Case Kermode and Marcus Metcalf posted 12 points apiece. WCDS (14-4 overall) entertains Freedom Christian on Friday.
Middle schools
* Boys' basketball: Trinity Christian 51, Wayne Country Day 15 -- Nehemiya Shaw and Tanner Willman each scored four points during the Chargers' home loss. WCDS (2-8 overall) plays host to Freedom Christian on Friday.
