Hamilton's double-double not enough for Warriors

NEW BERN -- Senior Naheria Hamilton dropped in a team-high 23 points and pulled down 15 rebounds as Eastern Wayne endured a 62-52 loss to New Bern on the Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference scene Wednesday evening.
The Bears avenged their lone league loss of the season.
Myesha Best contributed 13 points, while twin sister Nyesha scored six.
Teana Lewis, Diajah Jackson and Starasia Bell-Freeman combined to score 60 points for New Bern. Lewis led all scorers with 30.
Eastern Wayne (10-8 overall, 4-4 ECC) returns home Friday to face league-leading J.H. Rose.
