Middle schools
* Girls' basketball: Norwayne 31, Eastern Wayne 22 -- Katie Parrish emerged as the Cobras' top scorer with a team- and game-high 12 points. Teammates Lydia Butler and Trinayah Harris collected eight and five points, respectively. Eastern Wayne's trio of Nakayla Carter, Raven Smith and Tylisha Maye tallied four points apiece. Norwayne (4-3 overall) visits Wayne School of Engineering on Thursday.
* Boys' basketball: Rosewood 46, Greenwood 31 -- Townsend Tripple paced the Eagles' offense with 11 points. Logan Mitchell contributed nine points. Trent Lancaster provided six points. Rosewood (5-3 overall) travels to Mount Olive on Thursday.
* Girls' basketball: Dillard 50, Brogden 10 -- Dyamond George knocked down 23 points for the unbeaten Tigers. Ania Sands turned in a 16-point performance. Dillard (9-0 overall) continues play Thursday at Spring Creek.
* Boys' basketball: Grantham 40, Wayne School of Engineering 27 -- Tavyon Callahan led the victorious Bulldogs with 15 points. Teammates Chase Absalo and Xavious Speight recorded seven and six points, respectively. Peyton Wilkins tallied six points for WSE. Grantham (3-4 overall) entertains Greenwood on Thursday.
