PREPS DIGEST: Middle schools

Middle schools

* Girls' basketball: Rosewood 35, Grantham 33 (OT) -- Arzhane Dozier paced Rosewood's offense with a game-high 13 points. Kaitlyn Smith added six points. Teammates Laine Marak and Rylee Myers chipped in five points apiece. Morgan Kennedy led Grantham with 12 points, while Alissa Meadows scored 10. Rosewood improved to 5-2 overall this season. Grantham (3-3 overall) is the guest of Wayne School of Engineering on Monday.

* Boys' basketball: Rosewood 35, Grantham 33 -- Davien Thompson and Logan Price led the victorious Eagles with seven points apiece. Logan Mitchell, Townsend Tripple and Trent Lancaster each knocked down five points. Rosewood (5-2 overall) entertains Greenwood on Monday.

* Girls' basketball: Dillard 43, Norwayne 16 -- Zeanya Jones collected 18 points and Ania Sands scored 17 in the Tigers' road win on Thursday. Dillard (8-0 overall) visits Brogden on Monday.
