Mercer notches double-double against Hobbton

Lexi Mercer posted a double-double -- 21 points, 15 rebounds -- during Rosewood's 69-30 thrashing of Hobbton in the Carolina 1-A Conference opener for both teams.
Mercer also dished out four assists and recorded five steals for the Eagles, who have won 28 of their last 29 regular-season conference games.
Jala Holloman contributed 16 points, five steals and three assists. Alyssa Garrison recorded 11 points and four rebounds. Hannah Daniels supplied nine points, while Payton Lane chipped in eight points.
