PRINCETON -- Princeton failed to convert its fourth-quarter free throw chances and county rival North Johnston claimed a come-from-behind, 54-40 victory Friday evening.
The Panthers swept the regular-season series.
The Bulldogs led 40-33 early in the fourth quarter, but managed to hit just 5 of 14 free throws. Demarcus Ellis led the Bulldogs' offense with 15 points, while Gray McCoy scored nine.
Adrian Whack added eight points.
Princeton (0-6 overall) launches its Carolina 1-A Conference season Tuesday at James Kenan.
