STANHOPE -- Charles B. Aycock split a non-conference tri-meet with Louisburg and perennial Big Eight 3-A power Southern Nash.
The Golden Falcons secured three individual wins and collected nine forfeits in a 57-9 triumph over Louisburg. Austin Doyle, Chase Hapes and Joshua Wallace each won their respective match.
Wallace improved to 16-0 during a 50-27 loss to the host Firebirds. Teammates Doyle, Jaret Paynter, Tyler Marquard and Chris Parks each earned an individual win.
Golden Falcons head coach RJ Allen and his staff had to adjust their lineup due to wrestlers not making weight, which created matchup problems against Southern Nash.
CBA wrestled in the Eagle Invitational at Rosewood on Saturday.
