Rosewood girls roll past North Johnston

Rosewood senior Lexi Mercer and sophomore Jala Holloman continue to be a solid 1-2 offensive punch this season.
Mercer delivered 17 points and Holloman scored 15 during the Eagles' 62-37 romp over North Johnston on Tuesday evening. RHS swept the regular-season series.
A senior, Mercer grabbed eight rebounds, dished out six assists sand picked the Panthers for five steals. Holloman added five steals and four assists. Rosewood had 30 steals as a team.
Senior Alyssa Garrison provided nine points and five steals, while junior Hannah Daniels knocked down eight points.
Rosewood (2-0 overall) entertains Charles B. Aycock on Friday.
