Panthers spoil Rebels' season opener

BEULAVILLE -- Rylee Pate tallied a team-leading 11 points in North Duplin's season-opening, 40-25 loss to county rival East Duplin on Thursday evening.
Deja Aycock added seven points. Shaily McCarty and Alyssa Santos supplied five and two points, respectively.
The teams meet again Dec. 8 in Calypso.
