East Duplin boys defeat North Duplin

BEULAVILLE -- Malik Cobb collected 11 points during North Duplin's season-opening, 67-40 loss to county foe East Duplin on Thursday evening.
Travaye Darden dropped in seven points. Dexter Morissey and Luke Britt contributed six points apiece. Terrion Addison and Schmid Romeus each chipped in four points.
The teams meet again Dec. 8 in Calypso.
