Wayne Christian's boys slip past Parrott Academy

Darrin Oates poured in a game-high 29 points as Wayne Christian turned back Arendell-Parrott Academy, 69-63, on Thursday evening.
Tyrique McClain supplied 26 points, while Rayshawn Wellington knocked down 11.
The Eagles (2-2 overall) play host to the Goldsboro Heat today. Tip-off is 7 p.m. inside Clifford Gymnatorium.
