Eastern Wayne matmen post 1-2 dual record at North Lenoir

La GRANGE -- Three Eastern Wayne grapplers -- Chris Barbour, Mario Harper and Ryshon Rodwell -- each ended the night 3-0 during a four-team, non-conference meet wrestled inside Wooten Gymnasium.
The Warriors dropped matches to Fike (42-36) and North Lenoir (54-30), but cruised past Princeton 60-21.
Jonathan Harris, Cainen Miller and Dilissus Council each had two wins for EW. Teammates Jordan Wooten, Equan Tune, Isiah Broadhurst, Cam Martin, Brandon Darling, Ian Gutierrez and Jordan Wooten each picked up one individual victory.
Eastern Wayne (2-3 overall) returns to action Tuesday for a three-team meet at perennial Big Eight 3-A power Southern Nash.
