C.B. Aycock girls upend North Lenoir

PIKEVILLE -- C.B. Aycock outscored North Lenoir 9-2 in the third quarter and claimed a 35-27, non-conference win Wednesday evening.
Sophomore Hannah Vinson led a balanced Golden Falcons' offense with nine points. Tanika Powell contributed seven points, followed by junior Connor Vinson with six points.
Taylor Daniels and Cassandra Lassiter each scored five points.
CBA shot 7 of 13 from the free throw line as a team.
The Golden Falcons (1-1 overall) travel to Goldsboro on Friday.
