FAYETTEVILLE -- Wayne Christian snapped an 11-game skid with a 2-1 triumph over Northwood Temple in a Carolina Christian 1-A Conference game Tuesday afternoon.
The Eagles' Holden Foster supplied the game-deciding goal off of an assist from Nathaniel Younge. Younge also assisted on Jaxon Anderson's first-half goal.
WCS goalie Mason White recorded 10 saves between the pipes.
"(The) guys endured and kept pressing forward to keep their heads up and (they) came out on top today," Eagles head coach Daryl Anderson said.
