WINTERVILLE -- Alfrado Cabrera logged his first hat trick (three goals) of the season and Eastern Wayne snapped a five-game skid with a 4-2 victory over South Central on Tuesday evening.
It was the Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference opener for both teams -- and the first-ever win for new EW head coach Scott Summers.
Revalyno Antoine tallied the Warriors' other goal. Christian Anderson dished out two assists, while Alfredo added one.
The Warriors (1-5-0 overall, 1-0-0 ECC) return home Thursday to face New Bern. Kickoff is 7 p.m.
