Aycock's Grieve scores first hat trick of season

Chris Grieve scored his first hat trick of the season (three goals) as Charles B. Aycock handed Goldsboro a 5-1, non-conference loss at Cougar Stadium on Monday evening.
Hunter Williams and Juninho Sanchez each scored a goal for the Golden Falcons, who are 4-0-1 in their last five outings. Dallen Edwards contributed two assists. Hampton Tilghman and Coe Jordan each provided one assist.
Christopher Pate tallied the Cougars' lone goal off of an assist from Jesus Quiroz.
The Cougars had six shots on frame and 15 overall. Goalie Chandler Patrick recorded 10 saves between the pipes.
Aycock (7-1-1 overall) entertains North Lenoir today, while Goldsboro (3-6-0) is the guest of Wilson Beddingfield.
