Wayne Country Day netters rout Oakwood

Wayne Country Day dropped a total of eight games in singles and doubles play combined, and rolled past The Oakwood School, 9-0, on Thursday afternoon.
It was the Chargers' third shutout win in their last four outings.
Jennifer Potts, Ally Willman, Eliza Eagles, Margaux Pope, Langley Barnes and Aimee Barnes each prevailed in straight sets during singles play. Potts, Pope and Barnes did not lose a game.
Potts-Willman, Pope-Eagles and Barnes-Hannah Fessler completed the sweep in doubles.
Wayne Country Day (5-1 overall) plays host to Kerr-Vance Academy next Wednesday.
