Coach: Reid Clewis, 1st season

Career record: 0-0-0

2014 record: 6-12-1 overall, 4-6-1 Conference Carolinas

Starters back: 10

Key returners: F Nichole Poppe, F Ellie Barnes, MF Christine Rocchio and D Sterling Peterson. Poppe earned all-Conference Carolinas honors in 2014. Barnes is a two-time all-CC selection.

2014 review: Rocchio and Petersen missed all of 2014 with injuries. Four of the Trojans six conference losses were by one goal.

2015 opener: Today vs. Georgia College in the UMO Believe Kickoff Classic

Outlook: Clewis is an alum of UMO and spent eight of his previous nine seasons as an assistant in the women's program. He's tweaked the Trojans' style of play that includes an aggressive defense. The team has responded in the preseason to Clewis' direction and has given a consistent effort during practice. Clewis has been impressed with Kaylee Larson's athletic ability and also believes that Devynn Brennan is going to push for playing time on the backline.

Notable: UMO won 20 conference games from 2010-12, but has won just five overall since then. ... The Trojans logged back-to-back 10-win seasons in 2010 and 2011. ... UMO claimed its lone conference tournament championship in 2004 when it set a program record for wins (20).
