Wilson Fike doubles up Aycock netters

WILSON -- Meredith Jones and Grayson Lane each prevailed in their respective singles match during C.B. Aycock's 6-3, non-conference loss to Big East 3-A member Fike on Wednesday afternoon.
Jones, the No. 5 seed, rallied to defeat Hailee Cockrell 6-3, 5-7, 1-0 (10-6). Lane, seeded No. 6, handled Morgan Norfleet 7-5, 6-0.
Jones-Haley Creech won at No. 3 doubles.
The Golden Falcons (4-3 overall) visit South Central today.
