Rosewood sweeps series against Goldsboro on soccer pitch

Stalen Massengill tapped in the eventual game-winning goal in the second half as Rosewood upended Goldsboro, 3-2, at Branch Pope Field on Thursday evening.
Massengill added an assist for the Eagles, who swept the regular-season series from the Cougars. Ethan Chapin scored twice. Geovanni Abril assisted on Chapin's initial goal of the match.
Mickey Eovine scored for the Cougars.
Rosewood (3-1-0 overall) travels to North Johnston next Tuesday.
