ECBL: North Lenoir Black doubles up WCDS

La GRANGE -- Boone Moody, John Strickland and Ethan Chapin collected two hits apiece during Wayne Country Day's 12-6 loss to North Lenoir Black at Alphin Field on Monday evening.
Strickland and Chapin combined for three RBI.
Parker Smith, Amane Godo, Jaxon Anderson, Zach Barfield and Cole Brewer each had one hit for WCDS, which fell to 11-6 against Eastern Carolina Baseball League opposition this season.
Chapin took the mound loss. He surrendered eight runs (three earned) on eight hits, walked one and struck out four in four-plus innings. Godo hurled 12/3 innings of five-hit, one-strikeout relief.
