Rebels slip past Wildcats in Carolina 1A baseball

North Duplin scratched out four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to squeak by Hobbton 8-7 in Carolina 1-A Conference action on Tuesday evening.
Brandon Rogers, Hunter Britt, Bryce Best and Justin Adkins each had two hits for the Rebels. Adkins drove in three runs.
Trey Pate got the win on the mound in relief for North Duplin. Dustin Carter, Colby Bass and DJ Morrissey all contributed innings on the mound for the Rebels.
North Duplin (9-7 overall, 7-5 CC) visits Spring Creek on Thursday.
