Barnes' two goals, Willman's defense sparks WCDS

Langley Barnes scored two goals and Ally Willman locked down defensively on Community Christian's best player as Wayne Country Day beat Community Christian 3-0 on Thursday.
Barnes opened the scoring two minutes into the game on an assist from Margaret Tanner. Allison Bailey assisted Barnes' second goal in the second half, and Tanner notched her second assist on a pass to Jasmine Jones.
"It was our best team performance of the season and the girls deserved the win," Wayne Country Day coach Steven Ellis said. "Ally Willman man marked the strongest player out of the game after 5 minutes and I don't think she touched but maybe 3 times after that.
"She worked tirelessly to keep her contained.
