Aycock nets shutout of South Central in tennis

Charles B. Aycock swept the singles and doubles courts during a 9-0 conquest of Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference foe South Central.
Golden Falcons senior Chas Hooks bounced back from an opening-set loss to defeat Zach Cayton 0-6, 6-2, 14-12. Teammates Alan Best, Stanton Head, Nick Coston, Brock Painter and Blake Stephens each emerged victorious against their respective opponent.
Best did not lose a game.
Hooks-Best, Head-Coston and Painter-Hare sealed the shutout with victories on the doubles scene.
