Hawks score mercy-rule win in ECC 2A baseball

North Lenoir pounded out 15 hits and scored 15 runs to upend Eastern Carolina 2-A foe Greene Central, 15-5, on Wednesday evening.
Chad Ginn got the win on the mound, striking out 10 batters, walking one and allowing three runs on five hits.
Jacob Baird had three hits, an RBI and scored three runs. Luke Jackson, Garrett Letchworth, Caleb Beard, Orlando Cannon and Allen Sutton each had two hits for the Hawks.
North Lenoir (5-2 overall, 2-0 ECC) entertains C.B. Aycock today.
