Golden Falcons girls 2nd in ECC 3A-4A track meet

Courtney Warner took first in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12 seconds to help Charles B. Aycock to a second-place finish in an Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference meet Wednesday.
South Central took first in the meet with 128 points, while Charles B. Aycock had 97, and Eastern Wayne and Southern Wayne had 20 and 13 points.
Cyerra Carter took first in the high jump for the Golden Falcons and second in the triple jump.
Warner placed second in the 200-meter dash with a time of 26:44. Taylor Daniels took second in the 400-meter dash, and Kassandra Sandoval placed second in both the 100- and 300-meter hurdles.
All three Aycock relay teams took second as well.
The Golden Falcons run again Apr. 13 at Greene Central.
