Eastern Wayne head coach Jorg Wagner told his girls after a 9-0 blowout of South Lenoir to expect a completely different story when they matched up with Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A foe South Central.
It was different in the sense that they finally played a full game. But the Warriors still blew out the Falcons, 7-0, on Tuesday evening.
Megan Mozingo led the way with a hat trick in the 30th, 40th and 72nd minutes. Brennan Dove chipped in two goals to the cause. Claire Molloy and Cameron Dove each had a goal within two minutes of each other.
Eastern Wayne held a 16-2 advantage in shots.
The Warriors (3-0-0 overall) play host to New Bern on Thursday.
